Recently, I did an extended interview with John Kiesewetter of WVXU about “The Big 50: The Men and Moments That Made the Cincinnati Reds,” the book that I wrote with Chris Garber. We talked about the book, of course, but also dove into Reds history. It was a lot of fun.
Here’s John’s story about the book, with some quotes from me. You can listen to the interview (it’s about 15 minutes long) below.
Seriously, if you haven’t had a chance to pick up a copy yet, why are you waiting? If you are a fan of Redleg Nation (and why would you be here otherwise?), I can guarantee that you’ll get a kick out of this book. There is something in there for everyone, from a casual fan to the most hardcore Redleg partisan.
Plus, if you pick up a book, it’s not only going to make you incredibly happy, it would really make me happy as well. And isn’t that why we’re all here?
