Redleg Nation is looking for an experienced baseball writer(s) to author two feature posts about the Cincinnati Reds per month, March-September.

We can’t pay you, but can expose your work to a large, active group of readers. If interested, contact us at redlegnation2014@gmail.com.

Steve grew up in Cincinnati as a die-hard fan of Sparky’s Big Red Machine. After 25 years living outside of Ohio, mostly in Ann Arbor, he returned to the Queen City in 2004. He has resumed a first-person love affair with the Cincinnati Reds and is a season ticket holder at Great American Ball Park. The only place to find Steve’s thoughts of more than 140 characters is Redleg Nation. Follow his tweets @spmancuso.

  1. I’d like to give a plug to this post…

The 1+ year I wrote for RLN was probably the most rewarding thing I’ve done involving my baseball fanhood.

Working with Chad, Steve, Jason, Nick, and everyone else was a fantastic experience that I’m very happy I had a chance to have.

If you are perhaps reading this and waffling back and forth, I say go for it! If you have the time, that is! You won’t regret it.

    • That’s the issue, time… I may submit a guest piece or two this year though. Been debating doing one soon on “tanking” and how it effects free-agency, competitive balance, baseball fans, and baseball players.
