The 7th Inning Stretch: Episode 1

We tried out something new last night. It’s the first episode of a live show we’re calling “The 7th Inning Stretch.” Jordan Barhorst was our host for the pilot episode, which aired last night during — you guessed it! — the seventh inning stretch of the Reds-Orioles game.

Check it out. We’d certainly love your feedback. Also, be sure to follow us on Twitter and Periscope to be notified every time we go live with the 7th Inning Stretch.

  1. I’d like to thank the 350+ viewers who joined us live, and everyone else who has checked out the video since it was posted! As Chad mentioned above, this was very much a pilot for what this feature can be. At the end of the day, we want to cater to you.

What would you want out of a short-form video series like this? Should we focus on one topic per video? Should it be a ‘mailbag’ type of segment? Should we just talk about the game and recap the series up to that point? We want to hear from you.

  2. Posting here for no particular reason…

Amir Garrett currently has the 4th most valuable slider (slurve?) in MLB on a runs per 100 pitches basis.

    • Patrick, I have Googling around and cannot find these data. Do you have link? I am interested in knowing the ages of the pitchers who ranked one through three.
