Merry Christmas from Redleg Nation!

brm

Hope all of you out there in Redleg Nation are having a marvelous holiday season!

img_8499Here at Redleg Nation World Headquarters, we’re enjoying some quiet time with family (including my youngest brothers, who are visiting from their home in China, of all places). What’s happening where you are? I want to hear all about the Reds-related swag you received for Christmas or, in the alternative, what cool Reds gifts did you give to others?

A co-worker got me the sweet piece of memorabilia — over there on the left — from Johnny Bench’s Home Plate restaurant. Great gift.

So…how was your Christmas?

From a WLW tweet, I saw this 1992 Christmas Special on WLWT, “All-Star Cincinnati Night Before Christmas.” Give it a watch today:

If that’s not your cup of tea, how about this video of Reds players from the past and present joining together to sing the 12 Days of Christmas? Or Marty Brennaman talking about whether Santa is real.

No? What about Reds Hot?

Oooohhhhhhhhhh…I know what you’re looking for. You want to celebrate with highlights of the 2016 Cincinnati Reds season!

I sincerely hope all of you are having a wonderful holiday season, however you choose to celebrate it. Thanks for being the heart and soul of Redleg Nation all throughout the year.

  1. Merry Christmas Chad to you, your family, all the RLN editors and writers, and every Reds fan who makes this site a welcoming home for all of us crazy enough to live and die by the Cincinnati Reds. Redleg Nation is the Reds present that keeps on giving. Thank you, and Merry Christmas, everyone!

  2. Loved the highlight reel. Those catches by Billy were otherworldly!! There really could have been 30 minutes of just fielding and baserunning by him. Duval and Suarez had a lot of great highlights too.

  3. Happy holidays to all of the writers and contributors to Redleg Nation. As a aside, look at the mlb rumors speculation of closer the reds should pick up (please, not Blanton.)

  4. Chad hope you and yours had a very Merry Christmas!! I can envision a BP to Dodgers trade before spring training? Your thoughts?
