Redsfest starts today!

Redsfest kicks off tonight at the Duke Energy Center, and runs through tomorrow. Just about every major current player is scheduled to attend (Votto, Cozart, DeSclafani, Duvall, Hamilton, Iglesias, Lorenzen, Mesoraco, Suarez, and more), as well as the coaching staff (including Bryan Price), and the broadcasters (both Brennaman’s, Brantley, Day, and Welsh). In addition, there are many alumni including Pete Rose, Eric Davis, Tom Browning, Dave Parker, Dmitri Young, and more.

Redsfest is a first class operation, and features tons of wonderful activities for the kids, interviews on the main stage, and my personal favorite, the giant memorabilia vendor area. There are tickets still available, and if you can, you should definitely make your way down.

If you do make it down to Redsfest, be sure to share your stories and experiences in the comments! If you would also like to, feel free to send us a post however long or short documenting your experience to

Happy Redsfest!

  1. RLN has been a huge upgrade to my experience as a Reds fan the past several years (thank you to all the RLN team and all the fans contributing their ideas from all corners). And being out of market, MLB extra innings makes watching the games a joy. But every once in a while I do wish I was a lot closer to the mother ship. Please guys, send lots of reports from Redsfest. I’m attending vicariously again this year!

  2. I live in Charlotte and really want to go next yr. Worth it?

    • Yes. Your feet, knees and legs may say otherwise the next day though. Lots of opportunities for autographs. Friday evening seems like a good time for information when they do the introductions and the front office staff talk some. There is a Q&A session with them too. But on Saturday there is more time to do things.
