Yesterday we had readers here at Redleg Nation submit questions about the draft for me to answer for the weekly column here. Despite me trying to keep things limited to 10 minutes, we ran nearly 15. Hopefully you enjoy the video – it’s something new to try out. Let me know what you think in the comments.

Doug, I enjoyed hearing from you and the dog. I wish the little Cossacks minded as well as the dog! The verbal component for your responses adds a nice flavor to the blog. What we miss from just listening to your responses is the discussion created by supporting or opposing viewpoints. If you do continue to utilize this format (and I hope you do, at least periodically), you may want to speak directly into the mic. Any time you turn away from the mic, your response fades off, at least on my old computer with the volumes cranked up to 100%.

Hopefully it won’t be a problem in the future. I’m ordering a microphone this week (I plan on doing more stuff like this at my site at the very least).

Thanks Doug, really enjoyed your insights.

Nice work, Doug! If the video format is easier for you than typing, then go for it. I’m excited for this Reds class—especially with the top picks signing immediately.

Love your draft stuff, and your site. My preference is the typed articles just because I browse your site at work and don’t like to advertise I’m not doing work stuff lol

      Completely understandable, Fish.

I don’t think this is going to be an every week thing here at Redleg Nation, but it will probably work it’s way into the column at times. Some articles just won’t work in this kind of format.
