  1. Reds will be lucky to get 2 base runners today against Felix

  2. Thought Bruce might be scratched b/c of a trade. Guess not.

    • Jesse; My first thought also but my second thought is that ball players have that type of contact with wall all most daily and play through it. Maybe Bruce understands that with him or without him playing “ouchy” the bullpen will overcome any of his efforts.

  3. Votto’s getting the high-and-away strike called on him this year far more often than ever. It’s as much a problem as his inability to make contact on pitches down the middle and his inability to hit inside balls with authority.l

  4. This is going to be real easy for Felix.Best chance we have is that he gets bored and walks some guys and gets his pitch count up.Otherwise its an easy W.

    • Yeah, this is going to be a cake walk for Felix, especially with the only 2 guys who have been hitting well lately on the bench.

  5. Votto is my favorite Red, but good grief man. Send him down to AAA and put Duvall over there and Schleber in left. Sacrifice a chicken, do aroma therapy, call an exorcist, something. This is getting ridiculous. Another strikeout, come on dude.

    I feel better now

    • Brett; Glad your better, I was about to call 911

    • Maybe he needs a sports shrink? He seemed to be turning a corner before that stupid 3 days off in a row that he got w the rain out a few weeks back.

  6. Wish we could have plated a couple runs there. At least Felix pitch count is climbing.

  7. Looks like the pen can’t blow this one.

  8. A dream come true for me Tuesday night. Daniel Wright, someone I know personally and played for my alma mater Arkansas State makes his major league debut on the bump vs LA.

  9. Votto looks so off balance and seems like his mind is racing like mad at the plate this season. Maybe he needs to see a shrink?

  10. Lamb didn’t pitch a bad game at all….should be 2-0. I can’t believe they didn’t give Suarez an error on that ball before the 3 run HR. It was right next to him….had to move like 1 step and completely whiffed for some reason? Easy 5-4-3 dp! Votto is obv a mess. Hamilton has looked pretty decent for a month now but not that it matters? Twins and Braves both won….no worse than a 3rd-4th pick this year and maybe the 1st pick? Could they get a gamechanger like a Felix, Harper, Trout, etc? Someone that isn’t on this team now is the best thing about this team….and being managed by someone else

    • Obvious error on Suarez, they just announced a changed decision than e-5

    • Lamb seems to pitch pretty tough when it is his time on the hill. I like his stuff a bunch!!!! Hamilton seems to be getting it a bit. Strange thing is I believe Votto has been helping him from what i heard on a tv telecast recently. If the reds scouts were different then i say a game changer in the draft is possible! With the people in the offices now not a chance!! UGH!!!

  11. Correction….anywhere from a 1st-4th pick next year

  12. Amazing. No lead to protect, little to no chance to come back, so of course the bullpen pitches three scoreless innings. Of course.

    • That’s actually not because of the bullpen — because the opponent is in the lead — and has no worries — is being less patient to drawing walks, etc…
It shows the confidence of them feeling they will still win. This is going to be a tough year — I do worry we might not win again until they play the Braves (and they have suddenly started to play better too…)

      • Don’t forget next weekends big series in Milwaukee where the Reds could battle the Brewers for possession of 4th. place in the NLC.
