We’re looking for one or two new writers for the upcoming season. If you’re interested, please contact us at redlegnation2014@gmail.com.

Steve grew up in Cincinnati a die-hard fan of Sparky’s Big Red Machine. After 25 years living outside of Ohio, mostly in Ann Arbor, he returned to the Queen City in 2004. Contemporary Reds thrills: witnessing Jay Bruce’s 2010 homer and Homer Bailey’s 2013 no-hitter in person. The only place to find Steve’s thoughts of more than 280 characters about the Reds is Redleg Nation, although you can follow his tweets @spmancuso.

  1. Is it a requirement that they would have to watch this team (lose 100 games)?

  2. Interesting!

  3. You don’t want me, I would be a slash n burn writer. I would be all about blowing up the blow up, rebooting the rebuilding, etc.

  4. It will be very difficult to find an optimistic writer at this point in time. If we can’t be positive I vote we be super negative! I would love to read from a writer that shares my point of view… mainly that this franchise is doomed.

  5. Doomed for what? To win the World Series in three or four years?
