Felix Perez went 1 for 3 with a 2B, a BB, and a SB. Billy Hamilton tripled.

Sean Marshall started the game on a rehab assignment and tossed a scoreless inning striking out two batters. Greg Reynolds took over and went 6.1 IP and allowed 2 R on 6 H and 0 BB with 2 K. Clay Hensley got the loss allowing a two run walk off HR in the bottom of the 9th.


Pensacola 3 – Jackson 0

Ray Chang went 2 for 4 with 2 2B. Steve Selsky went 2 for 4. Brodie Greene and Danny Vicioso each doubled.

Josh Smith got the win as he went 7 IP and allowed 0 R on 2 H and 2 BB with 7 K. Chris Manno added 1 IP of scoreless relief. Curtis Partch recorded his 4th save by tossing a scoreless 9th inning.

  1. What is up with Guillon? I was at the Captains game last week and he absolutely could not find the strike zone then either. Never seen anything like it in a pro game. His pitches do seem to have good velocity and movement…

  2. Looks like 19 year old Jesse Winker is getting his legs under him…this kid might be something, be fun to watch him progress.
