Redleg Nation Radio #74: The New and Improved RNR!

Welcome to the new and improved version of Redleg Nation Radio, featuring co-hosts Doug Gray (of RedsMinorLeagues.com) and, well, little ol’ me. Doug has been a longtime friend of the Nation, and we think we’ve hit on a format that will be entertaining, and allow us to publish episodes much more frequently than before. Even better, we’ll be able to take calls from you guys on future episodes. Kudos to Doug for his work on this project.

In this spring training-focused episode, Doug and I discussed Shin-Soo Choo, Aroldis Chapman’s move to the rotation, and the health of Joey Votto’s knee (among other things). Go subscribe at iTunes now (see below). Please?

You can listen with the player at the bottom of this post or right-click here to download the mp3 file to listen at your leisure. For links to all previous episodes of Redleg Nation Radio, check out the podcast’s home page.

Many thanks to Friend of the Nation — and huge Reds fan — Freekbass for the bumper music. The music is from this album; he’s a talented guy, and highly recommended.

  1. Your timing is impeccable… I was just thinking to myself “I need a Reds related podcast to put on in the background while I’m cleaning” I come here and BAM! there’s a new one.

  2. @TC: Absolutely not. There are 6 or 7 of us that will be handling the podcast duties throughout the year. This week it just so happened that Chad and I were the ones available to host the show. Bill (and others) will be on the show in the future.

  3. Finally had a chance to listen. Doug, you did great. And you didn’t even have to use the word “asinine”. (Sorry Bill, couldn’t help myself.)

  4. @TC:
Thanks for the kind words TC. For future reference, I have marked down to avoid usage of that word, just to stay on your good side.
