Many thanks to Friend of the Nation — and huge Reds fan — Freekbass for the bumper music. The music is from this album; he’s a talented guy, and highly recommended.

Blame Chad for creating this mess.

Chad launched Redleg Nation in February 2005, and has been writing about the Reds ever since. His first book, “The Big 50: The Men and Moments That Made the Cincinnati Reds” is now available in bookstores and online, at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and wherever fine books are sold. You can also find Chad’s musings about the Cincinnati Reds in the pages of Cincinnati Magazine.

  1. I can’t wait to listen, but this morning as I woke, the air was just a bit sweeter, my coffee was richer, and drive in to work was down right pleasurable. I love, love, love being a Reds fan.

  2. Hi Chad,

As of 8:50AM EST, the file is missing. I can’t get it to download and the player times out with a “file not found” error.

    Just letting you know.

  3. It appears that the site where the mp3 file is hosted is down. Check back soon. Sorry for the inconvenience.

  4. I demand compensation for this outrage. Swords at midnight!

Thanks for the update, will check back this evening. Cheers.

  5. Choo = Hamilton in OPS is certainly a comparison that further warms my heart, RE: this trade.

  6. I’m new to this site. I was told about from a friend as I drove from Salt Lake City to SF to catch game 1. I have grown up a Reds’ fan. In fact, my dad worked for them in the Bowden days. The Reds have always been a part of me. Because of this site my fanship has risen to the next level. I love it. And I have never been so optimistic for a season as I am for this coming one!!!

  7. Has anyone had a chance to listen to this podcast yet? It’s still buffering from yesterday.

  8. I’ve tried several different way, but I have yet to be able to listen to this podcast. I even downloaded it, but the file is not recognizable.
