  1. Great game for Janish. Hope he can make it back to the Reds this year.

  2. @Steve Mancuso: It’s baffled me why we have Slugger Willie Harris on our roster who just finally managed to get ON the Interstate. The guy’s batting average finally stopped starting with a .0 for crying out loud. DH slugger extraordinaire.

Wouldn’t it be much better to call up Janish who is batting over .290? Couldn’t be worse.

    • I do not think Harris has a place on this club but my explaination would be that there is no appreciable difference in the career major league stats of Harris and Janish. Harris has the advantage because he can play the outfield and 2B and he is a left hander. Janish would be our last right hander off the bench and we don’t have the need for a defensive replacement at short b/c Cozart is quite good.

  3. Maybe Janish should try switch hitting. He couldn’t be any worse than Harris batting from the left side.

  4. Both of our Spotlight Players are having a great month…Sean Buckley’s put up a .339/.403/.571 month of June also.
