  1. Quick review…it’s Saturday night Sept. 17th, it’s a cool night out and you team is being blown out. You already know Mike Leake is done for the season and Johnny C. can’t make his next start. So it’s the 8th inning and WHOM in your stocked full bullpen do you have come in and pitch? Well of course Travis Wood, a STARTING PITCHER, who odds are you will need to make a start here soon and you let him pitch the 8th and 9th inning of a blowout.

Flash forward not a week or even 5 days, but just 2 days later and WHOM is the starting pitcher for tonights game? TRAVIS WOOD.

Please someone needs to grab Bob and slap his ole butt around and say…HEY YOU ARE ALLOWING YOUR MANAGER TO RUIN A PRETTY DECENT FRANCHISE…DO SOMETHING….. 😉

  2. I bet Dusty pulled the arms off of all of his GI Joes as a kid.

  3. I cannot wait to read the explanation for this one…

  4. Not that it matters at this point, but the last two strikeout calls on Wood and Phillips were not even close on FoxTrax. What the crap is up with this ump?

  5. Dear Travis, sorry about your win. Love, Logan

  6. @Crutch23: Just Logan being Logan 😆

  7. Why is Phillips swinging on 3-0 ?

  8. What a bullpen the Reds have.

  9. @pinson343: The Gasoline Gang…….

  10. Pathetic. I’m thinking the Reds might get swept by the Astros. It would be a fitting ending to their home season.

  11. @dn4192: It was easy to see it coming, the use of Wood in a blowout and then needing him tonite.

  12. This tells the story about the 2011 Masset. Coming into tonite this is his opp Avg/OB%/Slug%
    Tie game .373/.492/.510
    Within 1 run .313/.414/.420
    Within 2 runs .299/.392/.407
    Margin > 4 runs .259/.306/.328

  13. If we get SWEPT by the Stros, can, at least, a ballboy get sh*tcanned?!? I mean, I know neither Walt or Dusty will. But, really, SOMEBODY has to go. Somebody.
