Rookie Ball

Billings 17 – Great Falls 1

Devin Lohman went 3-6 with a homer, Yovan Gonzalez went 2-3 with a homer and two walks, Kyle Waldrop went 2-5 with a triple, and Dayne Read went 2-4 with 2 walks.

Stalin Gerson went 6 shutout innings, allowing 4 hits, striking out 5, while not walking anyone. (Earlier in the season he threw 11 very good innings at Dayton, I’m not sure why he’s at Billings.)

AZL Reds

AZL Reds 11 – AZL Mariners 7

Juan Perez went 3-4 with a triple and homer, Brandon Dailey went 3-5, Carlos Sanchez went 2-4 with a homer, Robert Ramirez went 2-3.

After making 4 errors yesterday, the AZL Reds made 2 more today.

I also noticed it was 105 degrees at gametime. But I’m sure it was a dry heat….
