That is Wood’s first start this year where he hasn’t walked a batter!

Alonso has turned it on this month. He has a .986 OPS in May and his overall numbers are 291/370/506 (avg/obp/slg).

Fairel threw very well last night for the Dragons…second time I’ve seen him, he’s impressive and he’s only 22. Sulbaran is also impressive and he’s only 19 and neither threw at all in Rookie Ball last year.

Time to push Alonso up the ladder a bit. If he’s going to be on the 40 man, may as well see what he can do in AA.
