Redleg Nation Spotlight Player Tyler Stovall got a mention in John Fay’s “On the Farm” section today:

Tyler Stovall, an outfielder/first baseman from Loveland who attended Central Michigan, is off to a great start as a professional.

In 17 games entering Friday, he was batting .375 with seven doubles and a triple.

The Reds selected the senior with the seventh pick in the 20th round. Stovall was a former Mid-American Conference player of the year and a third-team Academic All-American.

Congrats Tyler, keep up the good work!

About The Author

I've been a Reds fan since the late '60's, with my luck of being able to attend plenty of games at Riverfront during the BRM era. I was sitting in the Green Seats in the OF when Pete came home in '84 and was in the Red seats when Glenn Braggs reached over the fence in '90 to beat the Pirates. I have had many favorites from Jim Maloney to Johnny Bench, Barry Larkin, Adam Dunn, and Jay Bruce.
