Down on the Farm

Rochester 9 – Louisville 1

Jeff Keppinger went 2-3 with a walk.  Hopefully he’ll be back in Cincinnati very soon!  Drew Anderson went 2-4 and Andy Green went 1-3 with a triple and an rbi.

The pitching was pretty bad across the board.  Only Marcus McBeth had a nice outing, throwing 1 shutout inning with a walk and strikeout.

Chattanooga Lookouts

The Lookouts had the day off.

Lakeland 3 – Sarasota 2; final 11

The Reds only had 6 hits and Jose Castro had 3 of them.  Castro went 3-5 in the game.  Juan Francisco and Dan Perales each had an rbi.

Josh Fogg started and had a no decision.  Fogg allowed 2 runs on 6 hits and 2 walks while striking out 4.

Dayton Dragons

The Dragons have reached the all-star break.  They are currently 28-40 and in last place in their respective division.  According to their schedule, they have only won 3 games in the month of June.

  1. Y-City Jim says:

Encouraging to see that Kepp is in the field as well. It shouldn’t be much longer.

  2. Bill says:

The Dragons have been HORRIBLE since promotions began, but I guess that makes sense. The only replacements were guys that couldn’t make their club out of ST.

I also heard that the loss of Frazier was bigger than on the field that he was the unquestioned leader in the clubhouse.

Could be a long second half for Dragons fans…the only offensive player I expect to improve is Logan Parker.
