This one was scoreless going to the 5th, and the Pawtucket bats woke up. Ramon Ramirez gave up 4 runs on 3 hits and 3 walks in 4.2 innings pitched. Marcus McBeth was hammered, giving up 5 runs on 3 hits in only .1 innings pitched.
Jordan Smith fell to 1-2 on the year with the loss. Smith gave up 2 runs on 6 hits in 5 innings pitched.
The Reds scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 9th for the come from behind win. Todd Frazier went 3-4 with a walk and an rbi. The 3 hits raised his average to .296. Jason Louwsma went 2-4 with an rbi. Both Norris Hopper and Jeff Keppinger started and played this game. Hopper went 1-3 with 2 runs scored and 2 walks while Keppinger went 0-3 before being replaced at thirdbase.
Josh Fogg made the start and received a no-decision. He would have gotten the loss if not for the 2 runs in the 9th. Josh gave up 3 runs on 6 hits and a walk in 5 innings pitched. He struck out 6.
Jeremy Horst picked up his 4th save of the season by pitching 2 scoreless innings. Horst walked 1 and struck out 5.
