If you haven’t already, you really should check out all the coverage Ken Griffey’s historic 600th home run over at the Enquirer. I count no fewer than nine articles, and they’re all worth at least a scan.

My favorite quote comes from Adam Dunn: “It was very cool,” Adam Dunn said. “But it would have been a lot cooler if it was in front of a packed house like it should have been. It was kind of like hitting it at Ed Smith (Reds spring training home).”

Indeed.

  2. As an Ed Smith regular, and observer of several Jr. HR’s at Ed Smith, I take offense. Twice as many people attend Reds ST games than Marlins’ regular season games. Dunner, you know that.
