I actually have a good feeling about tonight’s game. Bronson Arroyo has been looking much better lately (his last start ended badly, but he looked good for much of that game). Wilfredo Ledezma is a relief pitcher, but he’s starting tonight, and he hasn’t had a ton of success as a starter in his career.

Maybe the offense can put up some runs and Arroyo can keep the Pads from doing much damage. A win today and tomorrow could salvage what would have been a disastrous road trip.

  1. Votto!!!

  2. Joey Votto, you’re my hero!

  3. Any updates on Keppinger?

  4. Two MLB players from Key West? Go figure.

  5. Bronson racking up the K’s. Must be jealous of Volquez’s big night.

  6. Nice block, Grif

  7. Dusty #2 son with sac fly.

  8. 5 K’s

  9. I think Bronson’s red bat is hilarious.

  10. Celtics win on the road tonight.

  11. Surprising win by the Celtics on the road.

    Arroyo looking excellent so far.

  12. And then Arroyo gives up two straight hits as soon as I type that.

  13. Griffey is the worst outfielder in baseball. No wheels and no effort = bad defense, even if he does still have good instincts.

  14. Anybody figure out why Freel is at 3b and Hairston CF?

  15. Hairston has 99 career games in CF and only 13 at 3b, which makes sense.

Of course, Hairston only had 6 career games at SS before this season, and they had no problem running him out there.

  16. After that catch I think I can tolerate Hairston in CF…

  17. HOLY SH*T!!!! WHAT A CATCH!!

  18. speaking of Hairston in CF – WOW! what a catch. I was just sitting there watching and all I could think was “I can’t believe I just saw that.” nice hustle Hairston!

  19. Yep, very nice catch. Arroyo with 88 pitches through six.

  20. No save opportunity for Cordero. Nice hit by Janish, though.
