I hadn’t seen this noted anywhere, and it’s pretty meaningless for everyone except obsessive fans, but the Reds will be wearing a camouflage jersey on July 5 to honor the Armed Forces. Great idea, and it’s something the Padres have been doing for some time.

I already have tickets for that game (fellow RN Editor Chris W will be joining me), but I probably won’t be buying one of those jerseys to wear at the game.
