Game Thread: Brewers at Reds – 2008.04.18

Better late than never I suppose. Chad is out of town for a few days. Reds are already trailing 5-0 through 6. Not much to say at this point other than Arroyo is getting roughed up yet again.

Discuss what has happened and what is currently happening.

  1. Perhaps Arroyo should concern himself more with pitching and less with JTM commericals.

  2. Reds not very patient. No BB’s at all and less thsn 90 pitches thrown by the Brew.

  3. Brantley or Marty one on the radio mentioned that Sheets probably wasn’t much over 70 pitches when they took him out after 5.

  4. I’d feel sorry for Louisville right now if Coffey gets sent down and have to watch him struggle and Majewski on a nightly basis.

  5. This season the dread of the bullpen blowing leads has been replaced by the dread of the offense being incapable of mustering a comeback.

  6. Bako figured he might as well swing since the HP ump is calling virtually everything a strike.

  7. That inning is enough to make me stop watching this team.. Bases loaded, no outs and we don’t score a single run.

  8. I don’t understand why Dusty didn’t pinch hit Valentin for Bako. Then they bring in a right hander, Javier vs RHP and Hatteburg vs. RHP, then hopefully the bases are clear when you get to Hopper.

  9. When will Kepp make his first error? He has been as steady defensively as the Reds offense has been impotent.

  10. Watch it now, some of us have both. 😮

Is it the beard or the glasses that makes Gagne so ugly?
