Boy, this season is dragging to an end, isn’t it? Not much news, not much to talk about.

Nineteen games left in the season. The Reds need to win 18 of 19 to avoid a seventh straight losing season. I don’t think it’s going to happen.

    15 Pirates
    10 Baltimore and TB
    7 REDS
    4 KC

    that’s depressing
    the Reds didn’t even go that many years without a winning season in the pathetic 80s

    You have to go back to the 50s to get a streak as bad as this one.

    11 losing seasons from 1945-55
    9 losing seasons from 1929-37
    7 losing seasons from 1910-16
