Yesterday, we presented our Players of the Months for the Reds minor league system. Well, today Redleg Nation is proud to announce the winner of our Reds Player of the Month award for August of 2007:

Jeff Keppinger.

Keppinger took the league by storm in just his second month as a Red. The infielder sparkled in August with a .393 batting average, with an on-base percentage of .460 and a slugging percentage of .596. Keppinger had 3 HR, 7 doubles, and 10 BBs, as well. All in all, an outstanding month. Great work, Kepp!
