You’ve probably already heard, but Kirk Saarloos was mercifully outrighted to AAA this evening. Victor Santos was recalled to take his place on the Cincinnati roster.

Santos probably isn’t any better than Saarloos, but I’m willing to bet that Santos won’t allow ten straight hitters to reach base.

  1. why not bring up bray? santos showed earlier this year that he has no buisness pitching for the reds.

  2. Santos was generally okay in his first stint. As a long man, there are worse options.

Though I agree – I’d like to see Bray at some point this year. Maybe in Mike Stanton’s spot…?

  3. Saarloos = Santos
Let’s hold some 2008 auditions for folks who don’t have a below average major league track record.
