Relief pitching

Lonnie Wheeler is correct: the relief pitching has been a big reason the Reds have gotten off to such a fast start. That, of course, is in complete contrast to last year’s fast start.

  1. Actually, I’d say the starting pitching is why the Reds have gotten off to a good start. The relief has helped.

  2. Well, I didn’t say that relief pitching was the only reason for the start, just a reason.

  3. No runs in five games? And these guys have the wishbone C on their caps?

Too bad we have to send one good pitcher down for one who sucks tomorrow.

  4. Relief was steady over the 1st week. Beat up a little today by the Buco’s but it is still livable for now.
