Another ST report from RLN Spotlight Player Bo Lanier:

We got rained out today and have a camp day tomorrow where we play each other.  I talked to Jay (Bruce) and I think he is going to be playing with the big league club and facing Papelbon tomorrow so hope he does well.  I’ll let you know more soon!

I’ve been a Reds fan since the late ’60’s, with my luck of being able to attend plenty of games at Riverfront during the BRM era. I was sitting in the Green Seats in the OF when Pete came home in ’84 and was in the Red seats when Glenn Braggs reached over the fence in ’90 to beat the Pirates. I have had many favorites from Jim Maloney to Johnny Bench, Barry Larkin, Adam Dunn, and Jay Bruce.

  1. I am excited that Jay is getting a chance to play with the big club. His peers from the 05 first round were all getting their chances much earlier in spring, and he is arguably better than them all. Have you read the article from the post on his first game Bill?
    Its a real good read.
