Reds HOF & Museum

From this AM’s Enquirer:

The Reds Hall of Fame will present “Sweep! A Salute to the 1990 Champion Reds,” an exhibit dedicated to the ’90 World Series winners, Oct. 15.

More than 100 items from that team will be on display.

If you live in the area and haven’t visited the Reds HOF and Museum, it’s well worth the trip. The couple of hours it’s open before the game really isn’t enough time to do it justice.

I’ve been a Reds fan since the late ’60’s, with my luck of being able to attend plenty of games at Riverfront during the BRM era. I was sitting in the Green Seats in the OF when Pete came home in ’84 and was in the Red seats when Glenn Braggs reached over the fence in ’90 to beat the Pirates. I have had many favorites from Jim Maloney to Johnny Bench, Barry Larkin, Adam Dunn, and Jay Bruce.

  1. I’m saving my trip to the HOF for this Chrismas, gets me out of the in-laws hair for awhile.

Here’s a good interview with Greg Rhodes before the HOF was finished.
