Down on the Farm

I love doing these reports, and I have had a few nice comments, so I will try to keep them up. I won’t be able to do them on Sundays. And I will be on Vacation in the RV from August 5 to August 21st in Maine. If you live between Cincy and Maine lookout for the Malott RV.

25 year old Texas Rangers refugee Ben Kozlowski pitched 6 innings, giving up 6 hits, 1BB, and 2 ER.

Phil Dumatrait pitched 4 innings giving up 4 hits on 0 ER (3 Unearned Runs) He now has a 3.24 ERA 70 ks in 97 IP. 51 BB and 91 H.

Sarasota 6, ST. Lucie 4
25 year old Eddie Valdez pitched 6 innings giving up 3 hits and 1 ER while stirking out 6. In 36 innings he has a 2.25 ERA with 29 Ks and 11 BB.

22 year old Omar Segovia pitched 5 innings give up 5 H, 1 BB and 0 ER. He now has 8 innings at Dayton without giving up a run.

  1. Has the defense at Chattanooga been bad this year? Dumatrait has a terrible record for someone with such a low ERA.

  3. I think most of these guys don’t fit in the puzzle until next year. O’Brien needs to make some decisions during the offseason in regards to who is going to comprise the rotation.
