Can there be any doubt that keeping Kearns in the minors for a month six weeks was a good move? Look how good it worked out. All he needed was the proper motivation.

Obviously, he was incapable of doing this six weeks ago. There is no possible conclusion but that he was demoted, snubbed, and recalled at exactly the right times.

  4. We’ll see how good of a move it is in a month.

  5. If it gave him a kick in the pants and a change in his approach then I’m all for it.

  6. My point is that kick might have been accomplished in 3-4 days. If we recall, he was murdering the ball right off the bat in AAA. O’Brien might have wasted a month of good production.
