Redleg Nation is now the proud sponsor of Felipe Lopez’s page on Baseball-Reference.com.

Who should we sponsor next? Herm Winningham?

  1. What does that cost?

  2. Ten bucks.

  3. Who is next? Why, Anderson Machado, of course.

  4. Gus Bell 😀

  5. I haven’t looked, but I assume the Adam Dunn page was already sponsored…

  6. You guess correctly, Bill. Of course that’s the first place I looked.

And I wasn’t going to fork over $200 for the Ken Griffey, Jr. page. Although, if anyone wants to donate the money….

  7. And no, I won’t be sponsoring the Anderson Machado page. Rey Olmedo, on the other hand….

  8. I liked the observation on Lopez’s page noting the tradition of fine Reds shortstops. McMillan, Cardenas, Concepcion, Larkin… except for a couple of years when the Reds were auditioning, they’ve had just four incumbent shortsops over the past 54 years. That’s an astonishing tradition. I hope Felipe can live up to it.
