Graves vs Wagner

John Erardi writes an irrefutable article on why Graves should be dropped from the closer role and Wagner inserted.

I’ve been a Reds fan since the late ’60’s, with my luck of being able to attend plenty of games at Riverfront during the BRM era. I was sitting in the Green Seats in the OF when Pete came home in ’84 and was in the Red seats when Glenn Braggs reached over the fence in ’90 to beat the Pirates. I have had many favorites from Jim Maloney to Johnny Bench, Barry Larkin, Adam Dunn, and Jay Bruce.

  1. That is a great article, and I’m surprised it ran in the Enquirer.

Best part: Wagner is only 22. When I saw that, I got a warm feeling all over.

  2. Good points all around.

I kinda forget about the last name on Erardi’s list…..I forget which team has Mr. Williamson now.

  3. Williamson was the guy I was most upset about losing during the fire sale. Boone was ok, but I thought Larson would turn out ok. That didn’t work out but we got a couple million for williamson and not much else. He should be our closer right now.

He’s in boston Heath. He’s hurt right now.
