The Bats season ended as it has pretty much of the season, with a loss. The Bats only collected 3 hits on the day, with no one having more than one.
Rehabbing Joey Votto had a bad day, going 0-3 (striking out twice) and having a throwing error.

Minor League Player of the Day:: Pensacola SS Billy Hamilton went 2-5 and stole 4 bases. That brings him to 154 stolen bases on the season. But even more important is that he’s been consistent from A+ to AA. In about half as many ABs at AA, his OPS is within 10 points of what it was at A+ and his OBP has gone up a little. Over the entire season, his OBP is over .400 and that, my friends, is exciting. There’s an interesting article on Billy in today’s Enquirer.
Added Note: Redleg Nation Spotlight Player, Sean Buckley, was named Midwest League Batter of the Week last week. Buckley batted .429 with three home runs and 11 runs batted in. He added five doubles and posted a slugging percentage of .929.
