  1. Speaking of Jose Fernandez….if I could buy stock in the Marlins pitcher of the same name, I would. The kid may play on some terrible teams in the next couple of years, but if you put an ML-caliber defense behind him and give him some runs, look out. It’s worth tuning in to the games he pitches.

  2. Oviel Florentino, Aristides Aquino, Nick Benedetto, Fabian Roman… these are all great epic baseball names. Hope they can live up to them.

  3. BA’s new top fifty prospect list came out. Stephenson leapfrogged Hamilton to take over as Reds top prospect, 27th overall. Hamilton still came in the top fifty, at 36. BA says that Hamilton needs to work on his swing from the left side.

      • @Bill Lack: Honest assessment Bill, are both ready?

We gave up our Dragons seats this year, so I haven’t seen either this year. The Reds must think Stephenson is (and I tend to think he’d have been promoted earlier, but for the injury). Winker’s young, so they don’t want to rush him, but I think you have to push him somewhat. He had a great May and a decent June (almost .800 OPS), but is struggling in July thus far. So, I don’t know.

  4. You really make it seem really easy with your presentation but I in finding this topic to be really something that
I feel I would by no means understand. It seems too complex and very broad for me.
I’m having a look ahead to your subsequent submit, I will attempt to get the hold of it!
