  1. I believe that gives Hessman 391 HR’s in the minor leagues. He is the all-time leader. Maybe you should start a countdown to 400 HR’s for him. Just kidding. Crash Hessman. ;)

    • @Eric: According to baseball-reference, the 391 homeruns in his minor league page includes 6 homeruns in Japan.

As a professional with an MLB team or MLB affiliate, Hessman is sitting at 399 homeruns by my count. He has hit 385 homeruns in the minors, 14 in the majors, 6 in Japan, and 1 in the Olymipcs.

  2. I’m assuming the Dragons had Stephenson on a low pitch count for his first game back from a hammy last night. & Tucker Barnhart went 1-3 with a walk in his first game back from the DL last night also.

  3. Ramon Hernandez was just released by the Blue Jays. He’d be an alright stopgap if Hanigan is out for an extended period of time. Offensively, he tanked after leaving the Reds, but maybe GABP can work its magic on him again?

  4. Today, I went to the beachfront with my kids. I found a sea shell
and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear and screamed.
There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is entirely off topic but I had to tell someone!
