Durham 5 – Louisville 2

Billy Hamilton went 3 for 5 with a 2B and a 2 SB (37). Neftali Soto and Kristopher Negron each doubled.

Pedro Villarreal got the loss as he went 6 IP and allowed 4 R on 5 H and 2 BB with 2 K. Jose Arrendondo and Logan Ondrusek each added 1 IP of scoreless relief.

AA

Mississippi 7 – Pensacola 5 (Completion of suspended game on 06/09/13.)

Ray Chang went 3 for 4 with a HR. Corey Wimberly went 3 for 5. Brodie Greene went 2 for 4. Theo Bowe homered.

Daniel Renken started the game but came out after just one scoreless inning. Trevor Bell added 2 IP of scoreless relief. Loek Van Mil took the loss allowing 5 R in 0.2 IP of relief.

Mississippi 2 – Pensacola 1 (Final in 8 Innings.)

Redleg Nation Spotlight Player Tucker Barnhart went 1 for 3 with a 2B and a BB. Brodie Greene doubled.

Shaun Ellis got no decision as he went 5.1 IP and allowed 1 R on 2 H and 1 BB with 4 K. Chris Manno got the loss allowing 1 R over 1.1 IP of scoreless relief.

High A

Bakersfield 13 – Visalia 7

Ryan Wright went 3 for 5 with a HR and a 2B. Steve Selsky went 2 for 5 with a HR. Yorman Rodriguez went 2 for 4 with a HR, a 2B, and a BB. Kyle Waldrop went 3 for 5 with 2 2B. Chris Berset went 3 for 4 with a 2B and a BB. Marquez Smith went 2 for 4 with a 2B and a BB. Juan Perez went 2 for 4. Juan Duran homered.

Mike Dennhardt got the win as he went 6 IP and allowed 3 R, 2 ER, on 7 H and 2 BB with 3 K. Brooks Pinckard added 1 IP of scoreless relief.

Low A

Ft. Wayne 14 – Dayton 4

Joe Terry went 2 for 4 with a 2B. Tanner Rahier went 2 for 3 with a BB. Beau Amaral went 2 for 5. Junior Arias homered. Seth Mejias-Brean doubled.

Drew Cisco got the loss as he went 2.2 IP and allowed 8 R, 7 ER, on 8 H and 2 BB with 2 K.

  1. I agree with your player of the day. But there is a fine, fine line between Billy Hamilton and my man Ryan Wright last night. Both went 3 or 5 with a double. However, Billy edged Ryan because of the 2 SBs… though one of Ryan’s hits was a home run. Very nice night for some of my favorite farmers.

  2. OK, Ervin is signed, sealed and delivered. He’s 21 years old with significant college experience, albeit small college experience. I can not fathom any reason to wait and send him to Billings. Send him a ticket to Dayton and get him fitted for a Dragons’ uniform, then get Inker the heck out of Dayton (nothing against the Dayton Dragons) and facing A+ pitching…NOW!!! :x
