  1. I won the right to buy tickets to the NLCS in 2010, through this process.

BTW, big fan of the Colts and Jim Mora here.

  2. Do season ticket-holders have an opportunity to buy postseason tickets without entering the drawing? I seem to recall hearing that, but don’t see it anywhere.

Yes, but it’s really expensive. See forthcoming rant.

  3. I’m personally more partial to the Mora video when he says “diddly poo” back when he was with the Saints. But this one is great too.

  4. Just got season ticket holder letter re: playoffs today and confirmed this with ticket office via phone: you’ll have to buy tickets for all games up front. As I don’t have $800 laying around for a single bleacher ticket (the cheapest), or the time to save up the money to do so (sales start this coming Friday and end Monday), I’m guessing I won’t be able to get playoff tix. To the best of my recollection, this is NOT how it was done in 2010. I don’t think this is a great PR move by a team that historically can do no wrong in that department. As a season ticket holder for the last 10 years, I’m disappointed.

That’s how it’s done in the NFL. As a Colts season-ticket holder, I’ve dealt with this many times. You pay for two home playoff games in advance, and if one or both games aren’t played, they automatically credit your account for next season. (Refunds are also available if you choose not to renew your tickets the next season.)

  5. Dude, I’ll split them with you. How much can you come up with? Split the games for each series.
