Tim Gustafson, 5.72 ERA, got the loss as he went 2.2 IP and allowed 7 R on 8 H and 3 BB with 1 K. Corky Miller added 1 IP of scoreless relief.

Tennessee 5 – Pensacola 0

Beau Mills tripled and Yordanys Perez singled for the only two Blue Wahoos hits in the game.

Daniel Corcino, 3.01 ERA, got the loss as he went 5 IP and allowed 1 R on 5 H and 2 BB with 3 K. Curtis Partch added 1.1 IP of scoreless relief.

High A

Rancho Cucamonga 8 – Bakersfield 7

Theo Bowe went 3 for 5 with a SB. Dominic D’Anna went 2 for 3 with a 2B and 2 BB. Steve Selsky went 1 for 4 with a 2B and a BB. Kurtis Muller went 2 for 5 with a 2B. Danny Vicioso went 2 for 5. Travis Mattair and Devin Lohman each doubled.

Josh Smith, 3.80 ERA, got no decision as he went 5 IP and allowed 2 R on 4 H and 2 BB with 3 K. Chris Joyce added 2 IP of scoreless relief. Andrew Brackman got the loss allowing 6 R, 4 ER, over 2 IP of relief.

Low A

Joey Votto 0 for 2 with a BB and a SF. Juan Silva went 2 for 4 with a HR and a 2B. Sammy Diaz went 1 for 3 with a 2B and 2 BB. Junior Arias homered. Juan Perez doubled.

Wes Mugarian, 5.55 ERA, got no decision as he went 5.1 IP and allowed 4 R, 3 ER, on 6 H and 0 BB with 3 K. Dan Jensen got the win with 3 IP of scoreless relief.

Rookie

Missoula 3 – Billings 2 (10 Innings)

Seth Mejias-Brean and Brandon Dailey each doubled.

Sal Romano, 4.90 ERA, got no decision as he went 5 IP and allowed 1 R on 3 H and 0 BB with 5 K. Matt Wiley got the loss allowing 1 R over 2 IP of relief.

AZL Reds – Season Completed

The AZL Reds finished the season last in the AZL Central with a 18 – 38 record and 16.5 games back of first place. Jonathan Reynoso was the Red’s lone player named to the 2012 Arizona League All-Star Team. Reynoso, a 19 year old RH hitting OF, hit .311/.328/.411/.739 in 190 AB with 30 SB.

    Juan Silva isn’t spectacular but is putting up some decent numbers. He’s a no doubter to get promoted to A+ next year.
