Todd Richard Redmond (27) is from St. Petersburg, Florida and stands 6-3/215. He was taken out of junior college in the 39th round of the amateur draft in 2004 by the Pittsburgh Pirates. Redmond throws and bats right-handed, with a career ERA of 3.76. His career strikeout-rate has been solid at 7.4 K/9 and it has improved to over 8 this year. Redmond has shown good control throughout his career, with a 3.3 K/BB and even better this season.
