Call up Janish, DFA Harris.
When Stubbs is ready, DFA Cairo.
Pretty simple.
Is there anyone who is able to watch Hamilton in person? Is his defense really that shaky that it keeps him from moving to AA ball?
His baserunning is apparently also really bad.
There may be elements of hitting that they want Hamilton to work on as well considering that part of his average is boosted by his sheer speed.
@Y-City Jim: That is another factor I didn’t consider. I don’t have the opportunity to watch him so simply looking at .332/.423/.450, there isn’t much else to do at the plate.
If they are seriously considering him coming out of next spring training, then they better see what he has at the best competition, but they look more than willing to slow playing him to the majors.
Does Bakersfield play any teams with a webcam?
