I like the idea of the nightly Spring Training update show, but I’m disappointed that they’ll only be broadcasting one ST game. I’ll listen to a few others on the radio, but it’s not quite the same.

This is a HUGE treat this year. Coverage looks to be much improved. Excellent news.

I’m watching Opening Day 2011 right now. Oddly, it’s in standard definition. Why would they do that? Either way, I like that it sounds like summer in my living room tonight.

I won’t be watching the game vs. San Diego. That’s the series Jim Day called, and man, he was terrible. Every home run: “It’s gawn!”

    The nightly show sounds amazing.

  • @DenL42: I watched part of this game last night and was also surprised to see it available in SD only…well, maybe not too surprised. When FSO re-runs day games in the evening, those games are also re-run in SD. Not sure why they can’t just replay the HD broadcast.

@TC: I can’t get enough Reds news in March, so I’m looking forward to the potential of a nightly show, too. However, I agree with Alpha that unless they have more yet-to-be-announced games planned, the lack of actual ST games is a bit disappointing.
