From this AM’s Cincinnati Enquirer (I can’t find an online link to this article), it appears that four Reds games will be shown on Fox Sports Ohio during Spring Training:
3/7 3:00 PM vs Milwaukee from Goodyear
3/12 4:00 PM vs the Cubs from Las Vegas
3/17 4:00 PM vs Cleveland from Goodyear
3/24 4:00 PM vs Texas from Goodyear
Thom Brennaman and Jim Kelch will do two games, Chris Welsh will do three, and Jeff Brantley one. Jeff Piecoro and Jim Day will share “sideline reporter” duties. The March 7 game will be a joint broadcast with the Brewers’ Fox Sports North network.
In addition, WLW-AM will broadcast two games the week of 2/27 (the first week of games). Marty will call the 2/28 (3:00 PM) game vs the Indians and a 9:00 PM game on 3/3 vs the Dodgers. WLW will also broadcast two weekend games (3/5 & 3/6 then 3/12 & 3/13) before starting daily games on March 19.

The battle for bragging rights in Ohio just got more interesting. The Indians signed our buddy Orlando Cabrerra. This of course means they’ve essentially punched their ticket to the playoffs. What will the Reds do to counter? It’s going to be tough looking across the fence of that split complex and see him there, laughing and spreading his veteran greatness to the junior team from Cleveland.
They signed him as a ballboy.
I may be very twisted, but I love this. Nothing beats Nazis discussing the Reds:
