Is the Votto/Reds article available on line? Anybody got a link if it is? If not I guess I’ll have to purchase a SI for the first time since the Reagan Administration…Either that or ‘borrow’ one from my dentist’s reception area.
If I’m not mistaken, Griffey Jr. was the last Reds player to be on the cover of SI. Just prior to the All-Star break one year. He was voted in as a starter. If memory serves correctly, he got injured the weekend prior to the All-Star game. Does that sound right?
2011 Interviews:
-- Reds farmhand Matt Klinker
-- Reds Minor League Player of the Year Devin Mesoraco
-- Redleg Nation's Newest Spotlight Player, Reds farmhand Tucker Barnhart
-- Bakersfield Blaze Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations Dan Besbris

I’m taping that next to my mirror for daily inspiration.
Oh Great!!! Have you ever heard of the SI cover jinx?
…not that I’m superstitious or anything
MVP… More Votto Please!
