Chris Heisey went 2 for 4 with a 2B and a BB. Chris Valaika went 2 for 3 with a BB. Dan Dorn went 2 for 4. Juan Francisco doubled.
Ben Jukich gets the win going 5 IP allowing 2 R on 6 H and 3 BB with 3 K. Enerio Del Rosario (3 IP) and Logan Ondrusek (1 IP) each add scoreless relief outings. Ondrusek gets the save.
Louisville – Regular Season Completed on 09/07. They finished the year with a 84-58 record and in 1st place in the International League West.
AA
Carolina – Season Completed on 09/07. They finished the year with a 65-74 record, 5.5 games back and in 2nd place in the Southern League North.
High A
Sarasota – Season Completed on 09/06. They finished the year with a 54-83 record, 25.5 games back and in 6th place in the FSL South.
Low A
Dayton – Season Completed on 09/07. They finished the year with a 59-80 record, 34.5 games back and in 5th place in the Midwest League Eastern.
Rookie Ball
Trey Manz went 2 for 4 with a HR. Sean Conner went 2 for 4 with 2 2B. Chris Richburg went 2 for 4.
Tzu-Kai Chiu gets the loss going 2.2 IP allowing 5 R, 3 ER, on 4 H and 3 BB with 2 K. Jacob Wiley (2 IP) and Daniel Corcino (1 IP) each add scoreless relief outings.
Billings – Season Ends on 09/11. They currently have a 23-52 record, 19 games back and in 4th place in the Pioneer League North.
GCL Reds – Season Completed on 08/31. They finished the year with a 28-27 record, 6 games back and in 3rd place in the GCL South.

No Bruce in the Louisville lineup.
Looking at the records of our minor league teams does not give me much hope for additional help.
It is true that we pushed some guys up, but so did other teams..
What’s not to like about a lineup featuring Heisey, Francisco, Frazier, Alonso, Dorn? It’s quite possible that Louisville finishes with not only the best regular season record but wins the IL playoffs. Since AA and A ball are not the best barometers of what’s on the immediate horizon, I don’t share your concern.
