  • In case no one’s paying attention…Danny Dorn is smokin’ at Louisville. June: .339/.388/661 with 6 doubles, a triple, and 4 homers. He’s raised his season’s numbers to: .248/.306/.444 and have risen every month. Don’t write him off b/c of his bad start at AAA.

Also, Tzu-Kai Chiu. I don’t know anything about this guy, but his numbers caught my eye 2 years ago in the GCL. I think he had an arm problem last year.

I’m hoping that Chris Valaika gets his bat going real soon like Dorn has at AAA. If not, they may want to flip/flop Valaika and Cozart at AAA/AA for a bit to get Valaika’s bat going again.

Drew Sutton keeps on keepin on. How did he not get the call over Richar? Is Heisey batting .500 yet?

  • Is Louisville pitching that dominant or is there just a lack of bats in AAA?

Hopefully Travis Webb finds his control like Travis Wood did earlier this year.

Good to see Hamilton get off to a good start, but on the downside he had two errors at SS also. I am really happy to see Dorn catching fire, he could be a nice player in the right situation (platoon). I am not expecting too much from Valiaka at this point forward this year…I agree to flip flop those guys to get him going in AA. He will turn it around at some point, but I am thinking it will be more next year than this year. So is EE going to called up soon? It sure looks like he is ready, and it will benefit the big club by leaps and bounds.
