–My Virginia Cavaliers are playing in the NCAA Super Regional this weekend, seeking a spot in the College World Series. UVa has never been to the CWS; this year is the first time they’ve ever been to a Super Regional, despite making the NCAAs each of the last five or six years.
They completely choked against Ole Miss last night, eventually losing in 12. I’m watching them now as they try to stave off elimination, and I need your good thoughts directed toward them. If you care anything about my happiness, you will take a moment to wish UVa the best today (and tomorrow, hopefully).
We should post that Conan clip every day. And the Mallory thing is always great. ED looks confused and disgusted.
As for the post-game comments, I’m going to stop reading BP’s comments. It does me no good whatsoever.

Great win for UVA and for Arkansas. Glad Florida State isn’t going to be there this year. Love new blood. Hope UVA wins tomorrow.
That Conan clip has been on my mp3 player for over 2 years now. One of the funniest things ever. If anyone has ever talked to me on AIM, my picture is of Conan as an 1869 baseball player from that skit and has been for 4 years or so now. I am heading down to the game now, lets hope Maloney does well and our boys can find a W.
