I was referring to the Nats being the perennial loser, not an individual player. But, Dunn definitely qualifies.

The last time I checked Aaron Harang is playing for a >.500 team.

Max,

Is Aaron Harang a perennial loser? What about Ernie Banks? Wally Berger? Steve Carlton?

In this question from the reporter:
"You missed a total of 19 games from 2004-2008"

I wish this team had a little bit of that.

Adam Dunn scares people with the look of boredom and apathy on his face while playing left field,

Adam Dunn is awesome. When the Boogeyman goes to sleep every night, he checks his closet for Adam Dunn. Adam Dunn can kill two stones with one bird. Adam Dunn counted to infinity -- twice.

Yet, it was a perennial loser like the Nats who signed Dunn. Arizona didn't want to risk offering him arbitration and the other smart teams weren't interested in the Biggest Loser. That speaks volumes.

The thing that stands out from all of that is his quote about Zimmerman always being on base in front of him...That was his biggest problem with the Reds. There wasn't consistent hitters in front of him getting on base, that's why his RBI totals weren't as high as they should be.

I second that Chad :)

My guess is that aside from an old timers game, we'll never see Adam Dunn in a Reds uniform again. He definately made an impact while he was here, but at this point its all ancient history.

I think after doing his one year in D.C., Dunn will get that big contract he was looking for. It will probably come from huge market team like the Yanks or the Mets.
