  • Logan played LF again last night. IMO, this could mean that they’re getting close to moving Yonder to Carolina and want Logan to be comfortable in the OF…

This helps illustrate how well Yonder Alonso is hitting, he is putting up a .301 .376 .506 .882 in the 189 PA in the FSL where the league average is .250 .319 .360 .679. Next closest fulltime player in Sarasota is Neftali Soto who is hitting .292 .320 .404 .724. His call up to AA should be coming shortly.

It would be nice to see him start the season in Louisville next year. Let’s hope Reds management sees that Brooke Jacoby needs to be replaced by that time. It’s time this team take a more progressive approach to hitting instruction. From the Dunn quote a few weeks ago regarding his conversations with Chipper Jones, it seems obvious that is not the case presently in the Reds organization.

Where is Chris Heisey going? I say bring him up to AAA and move Stubbs or him to RF or LF

If he is promoted to AA shortly, and continues to hit that way in AA, he should be promoted to AAA in a month or two also.
