Triple – A

Louisville  7 – Durham 6

Wow!  Down 6-2 going to the 9th, the Bats put up a 5-spot in the top of the 9th inning for a 7-6, come from behind win against the Bulls.  Jonny Gomes went 2-5 with a double, homerun, run scored, and 3 runs batted in.  Gomes’ first inning homerun was his 7th homerun of the season.  Drew Stubbs and Luis Bolivar had 2 hits apiece with a double each.  The two also combined to score 3 runs and drive in a run.  Drew Sutton went hitless but did manage to drive in 2 rbis.

Sam Lecure had a rough start for the Bats.  Sam allowed 4 runs on 8 hits and 2 walks in 5.2 innings pitched.  Thanks to the comeback in the 9th, Lecure received a no-decision instead of a loss. 

Double – A

Carolina 12 – Birmingham 5

Eric Eymann was 3-5 in the game with a double, homerun, 2 runs scored, and 2 runs batted in.  Chris Heisey also had 3 hits in 5 at-bats, adding a double, 2 runs, and an rbi.  Zach Cozart, Todd Frazier, , Chris Kroski, Jose Castro, and Redleg Nation Spotlight Player Logan Parker each had 2 hits.

Class A Advanced

Sarasota 11 – Fort Myers 2

The Reds put up 4 runs in the 6th inning and then a 5 spot in the 9th to blow this one wide open.  Dan Perales was 2-5 with a triple and 4 runs batted in.  Devin Mesoraco went 2-3 at the plate, with a double, triple, 2 walks, 2 runs scored, and 2 rbis.  Carson Kainer had 3 hits in 5 at-bats with 2 doubles and 3 runs scored.  Neftali Soto added 2 hits, a double, and 2 rbis. 

Single – A

West Michigan 9 – Dayton 4

Cody Puckett had a perfect night at the plate, going 4-4 with 2 doubles and 2 singles.

J.C. Sulbaran pitched great in the start. Sulbaran struck out 8 and allowed 1 run on 4 hits in 5 innings pitched.
