Can Gomes please be called up already? Sheesh.

Here’s to hoping that this game jump starts Valaika, Dorn, and Stubbs. They have all been struggling bad.

@Matt – Gomes just doubled his hit total in the last two games, prior to that he has not done very well, but he could be heating up.

What is it going to take to get Rosales on the Reds. He is now over .400 for the year and is showing some nice power.

If someone would get hurt in the pen, would Carlos Fisher be the one called up? He has done very well this year.

I’d like to see Stubbs back at the top of the order.

What’s with Dayton’s record and losing streak? Bad luck or a bad draft class?

Gomes might not be the first position player called up even if one of the Reds OF’s get injured. My bet is its Rosales who gets the call.

  • I’d like to see Fisher up, along with Rosales.

As for Dayton, too early to tell, IMO.

“Where would Rosales play?” – D.B.

What were the batting averages of the Reds 4 and 6 hitter yesterday?

A neat story about Ben Davis making his pitching debut yesterday in sarasota.

I didn’t mean to imply that Gomes was tearing up the minors. Rather, he’s a power bat off the bench, which the Reds sorely lack (Owings doesn’t count).
